Here's some pictures of my previous place of residence, in downtown Mobile,
Alabama. It was a really cool pad. The building it's in is over 180 years old,
and it has all of those "old house" charms. It's also 4 blocks from
where I worked and right on the main strip for Mobile's nightlife. I
live in Louisville, Kentucky now.
Remember, you can usually click on the thumbnails to get the full-sized pictures.

Ricky's Dining Room
When you first walk in the entrance, you enter my dining
room area and are facing that door at the left of the picture (west wall.)
Of course this room is not used for actual dining (I'm single, remember?)
It's my mini SOHO (Small Office Home Office.) Your basic computer area,
fax machine, etc. Those big squares in the back (north wall) are actually
windows to the bathroom.

Ricky's Den
When you head through the french doors in the south of the dining room into the den,
this is the first thing you see (well, my dad and I aren't usually standing there.)
The brick wall (south wall) is actually 180 year old exposed brick.

Ricky's Balcony
A pic of me (no, that's not Rico Suave) on my balcony.

Ricky's Balcony
And my mom completes my immediate family.
You can clearly see Cathedral Square and the cathedral in the background.

Ricky's Den
On the west wall of the den is the fireplace, complete with my little homage
to my alma mater.

Ricky's Bathroom
After walking down the hall (toward the north), the first room past
the dining room that you hit is the bathroom.
|
|
Ricky's Kitchen
Right past the bathroom is the kitchen area.
This is the pic of the west wall.

Ricky's Kitchen
Here's a picture of the
south wall of the kitchen, along with a glimpse to the hallway (you can barely see the
door leading to the den at the right of the picture.) Unfortunately I don't have a
picture of the east wall of the kitchen, which has a window to a neat little enclosed
outside area (somewhat like a mini atrium.)

Ricky's Bedroom
After making it through
you kitchen, you hit the bedroom. It's a bit in shambles here, but as you can see it
has an exposed brick wall on the south and a torchiere light that has no business being
there (I pulled the string, along with the light fixture [on side of bed], out of the
ceiling fan by accident.)
